Dutch angle

Also called canted angle, dutch tilt

A shot with the camera tilted so the horizon runs at a slant.

A shot with the camera tilted so the horizon runs at a slant.

The tilt suggests unease or disorientation. The Third Man (1949) uses it throughout post-war Vienna.
